The Hartford men’s tennis team was defeated by Colby-Sawyer College with a score of 7-0 in Manchester, Connecticut on Sunday. This match marked the Hawks’ opener in the Conference of New England (CNE), bringing their season record to 0-5.

Colby-Sawyer secured victories in all three doubles matches. The closest pairing for Hartford was freshmen Thomas Andersen and Jared DeGruttola, who lost their match 6-2.

In singles play, Hartford did not earn any points. Freshman Yande Simunyola came close in the #2 singles match, with set scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
