Hartford men’s track and field ends indoor season at Tufts Final Qualifier

The University of Hartford men’s indoor track and field team wrapped up its indoor season at the Tufts Final Qualifier in Medford, Massachusetts on Saturday.

Graduate student Kaden Leonard led the Hawks with a third-place finish in the 60 meter dash, clocking a time of 7.00 seconds. Sophomore Tom Barriger also competed strongly, placing seventh in the shot put with a mark of 12.49 meters.

The team now awaits announcements regarding qualification for the NCAA Nationals.
