March 14 saw former Northwest Catholic High School star Hayden Abdullah and his West Liberty Hilltoppers fall 52-46 to the Virginia Union Panthers during the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest, tipped off at 2:30 p.m. at Highmark Events Center, marked West Liberty’s opening game against Virginia Union in the tournament.
