John B. Larson has been serving in Congress since 1999 after succeeding Barbara Kennelly. Prior to his congressional career, he was a member of the Connecticut Senate from 1987 to 1995. Born in Hartford in 1948 and now residing in East Hartford, Larson graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a BA in 1971.
