On March 28, 2025, Rep. Larson tweeted “Good luck to @UConnWBB at the Sweet Sixteen in Spokane! We’ll be cheering you on as you work to bring home another national title! #BleedBlue “ showing his support for the University of Connecticut women’s basketball team as they advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA tournament.

Later, on March 29, 2025, he addressed a key consumer protection issue, stating “The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has taken on large corporations to return $21 BILLION back to consumers. @HouseDemocrats filed a brief in court to block Trump and Musk from illegally shutting it down. I’m glad to see a judge step in to stop them.” The statement reflects his endorsement of the Bureau’s role in returning funds to consumers and his opposition to attempts at its dissolution.
