After her performance, Murphy said: “Today was about going out and competing as well as just trusting my training,” said junior Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.). “I am proud of how I competed and grateful it all came together.”
Head Coach Connor Green commented on both athletes’ performances: “We are super proud of Jordan and Emily,” said Head Coach Connor Green. “Both had numerous personal bests and competed at a high level. They really set the tone for the entire team! Going into the meet the staff’s goal for Jordan was to just go out and compete. She did that and more. Her performances not only put her near the top of D3 but cements her legacy within the program itself.”
The Hawks will continue their competition through Sunday, March 1st at the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
