On Tuesday, March 18, former Newington High School standout Gunnar Johnson’s current college team, the Boston Eagles, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sacred Heart Pioneers.

The game took place at Harrington Athletics Village. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 2:30 p.m. at Parsons Field and Friedman Diamond against Northeastern Huskies.
