On Wednesday, March 26, former Simsbury High School standout Peter Phillips’ current college team, the Fairfield Stags, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Army Black Knights.

The game took place at Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field. This was their first matchup against the Black Knights this season.

The Stags’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Demske Sports Complex against Canisius Golden Griffins.
