On May 16, Fazio wrote, “I am honored to receive the unanimous nomination of the @ctgop to be your next governor. Now we begin the work of earning the trust of every resident across our state. Together, we will create a positive change for all of Connecticut.” Later that day, he posted another message: “CHANGE HARTFORD. SAVE CONNECTICUT.”

Fazio’s nomination comes as Connecticut prepares for its next gubernatorial election cycle.
