On Thursday, May 8, former Bristol Central High School standout Samantha Sklenka’s current collegiate team the Nova Southeastern Sharks won 2-1 against the Barry Buccaneers in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Barry Buccaneers in the tournament.

The Nova Southeastern Sharks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 12 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field.
