Seven members of the Hartford Hawks men’s indoor track and field team were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field All-Region teams, according to a March 11 announcement from the association.

The recognition is given to athletes who rank among the top eight individuals in each event within their region on the year-end Descending Order Lists, as well as members of the region’s top eight relay teams. The regions for this award are consistent with those used during the cross country season, including East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West.

The Hawks selected for the Mideast all-region team include freshman Jason Edmund in the 60 meter event and graduate student Kaden Leonard also in the 60 meter. Junior Chris Hergott and freshman Julius Lowe-Wannamaker were recognized for long jump. Sophomore Aidan Lybarger earned distinction in both shot put and weight throw. Junior William Pavlinsky was named for shot put while junior Thomas Yonkers received honors in pole vault.

This recognition highlights individual achievements across multiple events by Hartford athletes during the indoor season. The full release can be accessed through USTFCCCA’s official channels.

For ongoing updates about Hartford Athletics and its programs, fans are encouraged to follow the Hawks on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube.
