The group will discuss Murphy’s Law by Rhys Bowen, which is the pen name for author Janet Quin-Harkin. This novel begins the popular Molly Murphy Mysteries series & was the winner of the 2001 Agatha Award for Best Novel. The novel begins with Molly Murphy fleeing Ireland after committing a murder in self-defense. She arrives in New York thinking she has found freedom. But when a man is murdered on Ellis Island, a man she was seen arguing with, Molly becomes the prime suspect. Molly escapes Ellis Island and sets out to find the killer on her own.
