On Wednesday, April 2, former Newington High School standout Shaun Callahan’s current college team, the New Haven Chargers, lost 14-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Connecticut State Owls.

The game took place at Frank Vieira Field. This was their second matchup against the Owls this season.

The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 12 p.m. at Frank Vieira Field against Holy Family Tigers.
