Connecticut River Valley Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 6.

Last week, Dime Bank hosted its 153rd annual meeting at  Lake of Isles in North Stonington, Conn., featuring Dime Bank President  & Chief Executive Officer Nick Caplanson’s annual State of the Bank  presentation to Dime Bank’s Corporators.

As part of the business portion of the meeting, the bank announced  that Christian Miglio and Nimit Patel, M.D., both from Orthopedic  Partners in North Franklin, CT, were elected as Dime Bank’s newest  corporators.

At Orthopedic Partners, Christian is the therapy supervisor and a  leader of the rehabilitation services division of Orthopedic Partners.  In his role, he was a key member in the development of a second service  site in Niantic and has also helped grow the therapy team from five to  fourteen therapists to accommodate a higher patient volume.

Dr. Patel is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon  who specializes in all disorders of the knee, hip and shoulder. He grew  up in Farmington and attended the University of Connecticut for his  undergraduate education and medical school.

As part of his State of the Bank presentation, Caplanson shared that  Dime Bank, along with UCFS Healthcare, was awarded the 2022 Chamber of  Commerce of Eastern CT’s Military Community Support Award. This award is  presented to a business or non-profit organization which goes above and  beyond to show support of Eastern CT’s men and women in uniform.

Dime and UCFS were honored on March 25th for their joint support of Operation Homefront’s “Holiday Meals for Military” program which serves New London County.
