He expressed solidarity against violence and discrimination towards transgender individuals by stating: "On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we mourn the trans lives lost to violence this year & stand together against hate in all its forms. I am committed to working with my colleagues to ensure everyone can live their lives authentically without fear of violence or discrimination."

Larson announced federal funding for expanding passenger rail services along the Hartford Line aimed at enhancing economic opportunities in the region. He wrote: "Federal funding we secured to expand passenger rail service along the Hartford Line will directly support more reliable and frequent service between Hartford and Springfield and grow economic opportunity across our region!"
