On November 16, 2024, Rep. Larson expressed gratitude towards the Connecticut National Guard for hosting him to recognize the "Flying Yankees" as the nation's top Airlift Wing. He also celebrated employees at Collins Aerospace who serve in this capacity. The post highlighted that the Connecticut delegation had secured funding in Congress for propeller upgrades to power the C-130H cargo plane at Bradley Airport.
