John Larson acknowledges military achievements and legislative efforts

On November 16, 2024, Rep. Larson expressed gratitude towards the Connecticut National Guard for hosting him to recognize the "Flying Yankees" as the nation's top Airlift Wing. He also celebrated employees at Collins Aerospace who serve in this capacity. The post highlighted that the Connecticut delegation had secured funding in Congress for propeller upgrades to power the C-130H cargo plane at Bradley Airport. Later on November 18, 2024, Larson thanked President Biden for responding to a request from Connecticut's delegation regarding aid for farmers affected by flooding and frost damage through a disaster aid request. He urged Congress to act swiftly so local growers receive necessary support before adjournment for the year."Thank you @POTUS for heeding the CT delegation's call for aid to farmers impacted by flooding & frost in your disaster aid request."
