Larsen Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Larsen Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Connecticut lost 239 soldiers in the Korean war and 344 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 982 Farmington Ave, West Hartford will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Hannon-Hatch Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Larsen Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Larsen Ace Hardware is located at 982 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, Connecticut. This location is owned by Frederick S Larsen, represented by Mary Calder-Ricci and managed by Dan Hinman.
