Creating a Self-Care Toolbox

June 5th 10am-12pm at Balance Massage & Wellness Center

In this creative, hands-on workshop Stephanie Donofrio, LMFT will present to you information on various types of Anxiety, how Anxiety is helpful and how it can be destructive. Together we will use both cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral techniques to create a physical anxiety buster – calming strategies toolbox. This workshop will leave you with concrete ways to help you manage your anxious and overwhelmed feelings in your day to day life.

[Toolbox includes: personalized written strategy lists and the foundation for creating a grounding box to fill with emotional emergency items that you can utilize when feeling most anxious.]

You will be able to leave this workshop with a better understanding of ways you can better manage your thoughts, emotions and needs.

Stephanie welcomes any questions about Anxiety Disorders at the end of our workshop.

About the presenters:

Stephanie Donofrio, MS, LMFT Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist of 20 years, owner/therapist in private practice located in Newington, Connecticut. Specializing in helping anxious and overwhelmed individuals feel empowered and more confident in their relationships, at work, parenting and leading their families.

Jennifer Tirillo, MS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, 200 RYT Yoga instructor and Owner of Concentric Care & Wellness- promotes pain free movement over the lifespan. Her work centers on humans who are physically active or would like to becoming more active, but injuries/chronic pain hold them back.
