34 percent of applicants to Trinity College were admitted for fall 2018

At Trinity College, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 50 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Hartford enrolled 2,235 students in fall 2018, including 2,182 in undergraduate and 53 in graduate programs, data shows. 1.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

15 percent of undergraduates are residents of Connecticut, and 69 percent are residents of other states. 15 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (63 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (9 percent).

The school admitted 34 percent of the 6,096 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 28 percent enrolled.
