95 percent of applicants to the University of Connecticut-Hartford Campus were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Connecticut-Hartford Campus, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Hartford enrolled 1,432 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 3.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

99 percent of undergraduates are residents of Connecticut, and 1 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (43 percent) and Asian (18 percent).

The school admitted 95 percent of the 2,044 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 32 percent enrolled.
