32.4 percent of Trinity College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 32.4 percent of Trinity College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Trinity College has 2,182 undergraduate students, of which 50 percent are men and 50 percent are women, and a total student body of 2,235 students. Of these students, 416 men and 308 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Trinity College with the most participants are all track combined (152), lacrosse (78) and football (69).
