Graduates earn 1,677 degrees, certificates from the University of Hartford

About 18.9 percent of the 1,677 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Hartford in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Hartford conferred 182 master's degrees and 134 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 115 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 101 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 80 bachelor's degrees in general health services/allied health/health sciences.

The university enrolled 6,770 students for 2017-18, including 5,000 in undergraduate programs and 1,770 in graduate programs.
