Rep. John Larson, a U.S. Congressman representing Connecticut's 1st district since 1999, has been vocal on several issues through his social media presence. He addressed various political and social topics in a series of tweets dated February 3 and 4, 2025.

In a tweet from February 3, Rep. Larson criticized what he described as "a dictatorial purge by Elon Musk and his cronies," urging Republicans to join Democrats in opposing what he termed an "unprecedented power grab." "What we are witnessing is a dictatorial purge by Elon Musk and his cronies so the billionaire class can run the government."

Later that day, Rep. Larson commented on President Trump's actions regarding prescription drug costs. He expressed concern over the rollback of efforts aimed at reducing these costs and called for clarity on how this decision would affect individuals reliant on such programs. "After campaigning on lower costs, President Trump rolled back efforts to reduce the price of prescription drugs."

On February 4, Rep. Larson highlighted Black History Month by acknowledging the contributions of Black Americans both in Connecticut and nationwide. He emphasized the importance of advancing opportunities for all Americans while rejecting attempts to diminish historical narratives. "During Black History Month, we recognize the contributions and accomplishments of Black Americans in Connecticut and across the country."
