Rep. John Larson, a U.S. Congressman representing Connecticut's 1st district, recently shared his views on several pressing issues through social media posts. The tweets covered topics ranging from international politics to domestic privacy concerns and historical legislative achievements.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Larson expressed his reaction to a statement by President Trump regarding Gaza. He described the call for America to "take over" Gaza as shocking and emphasized that "the goal should remain the safe return of all hostages & a surge in humanitarian aid to Gaza."

In another post dated February 6, 2025, Rep. Larson voiced concern over a reported breach of taxpayer information involving Elon Musk and associates linked with 'DOGE'. He labeled the situation as an outrage and stated that "we are demanding answers from @USTreasury on what information they have accessed and who authorized this unprecedented breach of confidentiality."

Reflecting on past legislative milestones, Rep. Larson commemorated the signing of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) by President Clinton 32 years ago in a tweet dated February 6, 2025. He highlighted his role in advocating for FMLA during his tenure in the State Senate and noted that "everyone should be able to care for their loved ones without putting their paycheck at risk."
