Rep. John Larson, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut's 1st district, has recently shared his views on various national issues through a series of tweets. Known for his advocacy on social welfare and environmental protection, Larson continues to voice concerns about policies affecting these areas.

On March 18, 2025, Larson expressed his commitment to protecting Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security benefits during a conversation with residents and the CMA organization. He stated: "It was great to speak with @CMAorg and hundreds of residents from across the state today who are concerned about the future of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. We will not let Donald Trump, Elon Musk, or anyone cut the benefits & coverage seniors rely on!"

The following day, March 19, 2025, he addressed Trump's policy regarding transgender individuals in the military. He criticized it as discriminatory and supported judicial intervention against it: "Trump's trans military ban is simply discrimination. No one who is qualified should be denied the opportunity to serve. While we work in Congress to repeal it, I'm glad to see a judge step in to support these troops."

Later that day, Larson also voiced concerns over environmental policies under the Trump Administration: "The Trump Administration wants to gut the Environmental Protection Agency & roll back decades of progress to combat climate change & support clean air & water. @HouseDemocrats are demanding answers on what these cuts will mean for our environment & the communities we represent."
