Washington, D.C. - Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) welcomed Tejal Vallam, of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, to Washington to attend Indian Prime Minister Modi’s address to Congress.  

“I am honored to have Tejal join me in Washington, D.C.,” said Larson. “She is an advocate in her community, a business owner, and serves as chair of her Democratic Town Committee. The daughter of Indian immigrants, her family represents the very best parts of the American Dream. I am glad she joined me and it was a pleasure welcoming her to Washington.”
