Later that day, Rep. Larson criticized a recent decision by President Trump regarding healthcare funding in another tweet posted at 20:27 UTC. He wrote: "Yesterday, President Trump’s chaotic funding freeze jeopardized care for the 950,000+ Connecticut residents who rely on their Husky coverage. I oppose this attack on CT families and will fight to protect access to health care and other critical programs!"
Continuing his critique of funding decisions made by prominent figures, Larson tweeted again on January 30th at 00:05 UTC about the impact of such actions on essential services. He noted: "While President Trump walked back his funding freeze, we have seen what happens when billionaires like Trump & Elon Musk make decisions to halt services with no regard for how it will impact families. We will continue to fight to protect the resources our constituents rely on!"
