Rep. John Larson, a long-serving U.S. Congressman representing Connecticut’s 1st district, shared several updates and statements through his social media platform. His recent posts address infrastructure funding, healthcare enrollment, and issues of racial discrimination.

On November 7, 2024, Rep. Larson announced significant funding for Bradley Airport in Connecticut: "$6 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is coming to Connecticut to continue to improve @Bradley_Airport. A new baggage screening area and expanded flight options will ensure a better experience for travelers while creating good-paying jobs!"

Later that day, he reminded constituents about the open enrollment period for healthcare plans: "Open enrollment for a 2025 health care plan is happening now through January 15th. To compare plans and enroll in coverage, visit https://t.co/NTSnmAvzad or call 1-855-805-4325 for assistance." He highlighted the financial assistance available due to the Inflation Reduction Act.

On November 8, 2024, Rep. Larson condemned racist threats against Black students: "To see Black students in Bloomfield and across the country targeted by these racist messages is reprehensible." He expressed support for law enforcement investigations into these incidents and emphasized America's strength in diversity.
