Rep. John Larson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut’s 1st district, has recently shared several updates via social media. On February 13, 2025, he addressed issues concerning first responders, privacy breaches involving high-profile figures, and funding disruptions affecting community health centers.

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Larson expressed his connection to first responders through personal experience as the son of a firefighter. He announced his new role as Co-Chair of the Fire Services Caucus and acknowledged the work of his late colleague Rep. Bill Pascrell in supporting firefighters. "As the son of a firefighter, I know how hard our first responders work to keep us safe."

Later that day, Larson highlighted concerns regarding privacy issues linked to prominent individuals like Elon Musk and Donald Trump. He emphasized the need for transparency about potential privacy breaches related to 'DOGE' activities and called for accountability from these figures. "We've been demanding answers about Musk’s unfettered access to Americans’ sensitive information."

In another post on February 13, 2025, Larson criticized a funding freeze imposed by former President Trump that affected Community Health Centers in Connecticut. He noted that this disruption impacts over 440,000 residents who depend on these services and stressed the importance of restoring healthcare access. "Trump’s funding freeze has continued to disrupt and delay funding for the Community Health Centers that serve over 440,000 Connecticut residents."
