Rep. John Larson, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut's 1st district, has recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his stance on topics ranging from financial disclosures to social security and international support.

On March 3, 2025, Rep. Larson expressed his concerns regarding Elon Musk's influence over essential programs without proper financial disclosure or ethics review. He stated: "I was glad to join @SiriusXMProg to discuss my Ending 'DOGE' Conflicts Act. Elon Musk should not have control over the essential programs he does without filing a public financial disclosure and undergoing an independent ethics review - to say the least."

Later that day, Rep. Larson criticized plans by Elon Musk and Donald Trump concerning the Social Security Administration. He argued that their approach would adversely affect earned benefits for citizens: "Elon Musk and Donald Trump want to gut the Social Security Administration to pay for their tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. Their plan will mean the delay, denial, and disruption of your earned benefits. Musk-Trump, hands off our Social Security!"

In another tweet dated March 4, 2025, Rep. Larson addressed international relations by advocating continued support for Ukraine amidst its fight for freedom. He called for congressional action against decisions blocking aid: "This is no way to treat our ally in their fight for freedom. We must continue to stand with the Ukrainian people - just as we did when we passed the aid Trump is blocking. There should be an immediate vote in Congress to block this decision so Ukraine has the support it needs."
